Amanda Fay – Director/Senior Consultant
Amanda heads the company and drives the online and on-the-ground public relations services. She has some 20 years experience working in marketing, media and related industries, and a skill-base that incorporates all areas of the communications discipline. Amanda has taken to online communications like a fish to water, and draws on her journalistic skills to ensure communications are both effective, engaging and, these days, optimised. Amanda has worked with some of the countries most recognised organisations, and on some of the State’s most high profile projects.
Jude Lentjes – Strategic Consultant
Jude has built a sound background in strategy development and has worked on a variety of strategic plans from visitation and event strategies for Brown Brothers winery in Victoria, to brand development and market share programs in her role as Youth Marketing Manager for Telstra.
Tom O’Brien – South East Asian/Indonesian affiliate
Tom spent 25 years as a writer/editor/publisher launching consumer magazines in Canada, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. He held the position of executive editor at Astro All Asia, overseeing a variety of publications in several languages, as well as co-founder and editor-in-chief of Destinasian, Travel Etc., and Island Life. Tom takes AFAY’s Australian campaigns to Indonesia and South East Asia with a broad range of Property and Travel media contacts. Tom is currently editor of the accommindo blog and manages campaigns from his Indonesian base.
Niomi O’Hara – Marketing Co-ordinator
Niomi has a strong background in event management, public relations and community consultation and brings over 20 years of event management experience to AFAY Communications. A communications all rounder, Niomi has consulted for all levels of Government, along with the not-for-profit and private sectors.
Judy Binnie – Designer
Our creative hat is worn by Judy, who has worked in advertising, photography, graphic design, newspaper and printing industries over the course of her 20 year career. Majoring in Media and Photographics with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the early nineties, she later went on to up-skill for the ensuing world of digital technology.
AFAY also has established strategic partnerships and works closely with complementary service providers.
