ABOUT US

Our company was born from a big agency background, where a range of marketing and communications disciplines collaborate together towards common strategic goals. Fast-forward two decades and, while the marketing landscape has changed dramatically, the same rules apply – only less need for large infrastructure costs.

AFAY Communications is a results-driven boutique communications and marketing agency that integrates key marketing and communications activities to deliver measurable outcomes and benefits.

We take an ‘in-house’ approach with our clients and provide them with access to extended skills and expertise.

Founder and lead consultant, Amanda Fay, draws from her twenty years’ experience across a range of sectors and industries, including property, health, tourism, digital and mining, to provide sound advice and direction and, ultimately, desirable business outcomes.

OUR APPROACH

At our core, we believe that every project should start with a sound plan that reduces risk and alleviates wasted resources.

We believe message clarity and tone underpins all communications in today’s marketing landscape. We work to a strong messaging framework that ensures all activity remains consistent and effective.

Our strategic process comprises of four key steps:

STEP ONE: PREPARATION

An ‘information harvesting’ exercise looks to explore activities and opportunities and identify priorities for the next 12 months and beyond.

STEP TWO: PLANNING

A ‘high level’ plan addresses a key messaging framework and ‘elevator pitch’, available channels, activities, requirements and priorities.

STEP THREE: IMPLEMENTATION

Drives the execution of the plan with strategic advice and specialist services that might range from social media management to campaign co-ordination.

STEP FOUR: REVIEW

Ensures the marketing and communications plan stays alive with regular attention and success measures that seek to maximise opportunities and ensure the plan remains relevant.
